In groups, the students looked for information about two famous Andalusian people (1 in the past and 1 in the present) and presented their biographies to the class. We then entered the Actividades blog of the webpage (https://centropintorzuloaga.blogspot.com/) and watched a video about the top 10 places to visit in Andalucía and the students talked about their preferences.Finally, the students completed the valoración at the end of the post.

Discussion about school subjects and why we preferred/chose some subjects instead of others. We discussed the following questions:

  • Are there any subjects that you wish you had done better? Why?
  • Which subjects do you think should be compulsory?
  • Some people believe that you are either an "Arts" person or a "Science" person. Which subjects would you associate with those categories? Is this statement true for you? Why do you think people have this idea?

- Today we prepared a roleplay in pairs - Going to the cinema.

 To begin with, we listened to the listening that we had done on Monday (Going to the Cinema) to get ideas on how to structure the dialogue.

 Then, we visited the following web page of the Odeon Cinema in Limerick (Ireland) and read about the different films that will be on next Saturday 4th of February.
